1. SCHEDULE OF GENERAL CHARGES

5.	Reconnection: Reconnection/Connection the premises of any consumer who was previously disconnected on account of breach by him of the conditions of the supply or of his agreement with the Department or of such provisions of the Act as may be relevant whether the premises to be reconnected/connected are the same or not. 8. 13. 2.SCHEDULE FOR SERVICE CONNECTION CHARGES

Service conenction charges are provided in 'Schedule of General and Service connection Charges' are to be recovered from all prospective consumers and existing consumers seeking extension load. Schedule of service connection charges as per prevalent is given hereunder:-

Variable Charges :

No vairable charges are leviable upto 75 meter Rs.Beyond 75 meters for all loads various charges @ Rs.125/- per metre length of service line shall be recoverable for loads in excess of 5 KW.

Domestic and non-residential consumers falling under the following categories have the option either to pay in lumpsum the service connection charges as mentioned under the prededing clause or to pay monthly service rentals @ 1.6 paise per rupee of the estimated cost of service line excluding the cost of 30.48 metres.
1. Members of Scheduled Castes.
2. The connections meant for religious and charitable institutions run by recognized/registered associations or societies registered with Registrar of Societies.
All such prospective and existing consumers who will pay or have paid service connection charges in full shall be exempted from the payment of monthly service rentals.
The service rentals to the consumers existing prior to 01/11/2002, if applicable already, shall continue.

b) Service Connection Charges for Industrial and Bulk Supply:

For new connections:

Upto 1000KW	Rs.750/- per KW
ii Above 1 MW	Rs.750/- per KW or actual cost whichever is higher

Extension of Load:

Extension in load bringing the total load upto and including 1 MW		To be charged @ Rs.750/- per KW for extension part only.
However, charges for service line in excess of 300 metres shall be charged @ Rs.125/- per metre for the length of service line (new or augmented or both) feeding such consumers.
Extension in load bringing total load above 1 MW		Rs.750/- per KW (chargeable for extension part only) or actual cost, whichever is higher.
Rentals on original load, if applicable, already, shall continue.

All other terms and conditions as already notified wide Chandigarh Administration No. G1/2002/4....dated 30^th September, 2002
